With an eye to 2015, we thought we'd look back on some reviews we had from parents of child models in 2014 and hope that our shared successes will continue to flourish in this new year. "I registered Stanley with Talent Management because everyone kept saying that Stanley is a beautiful baby and that he should get into modelling. I chose Talent Management because they are friendly and professional and are dedicated to their client's needs. I also like the fact that I can track Stanley's progress and update his portfolio online. Stanley has just attended his first photographic shoot on behalf of a company called Kit for Kids, and I have to say it was a great experience! I was a little nervous on arrival as I did not know what to expect but the shoot was professionally run and we received guidance all the way through. The babies were rested when they needed to be and the whole shoot was tailored towards ensuring that the babies were content. Stanley thoroughly enjoyed himself and I had a proud mummy moment watching him smiling and posing for the camera! I would definitely recommend this experience to others."

"Grace loved being a model for a two day photo shoot at a caravan dealership. She was extremely excited beforehand and also when she arrived on set. Grace was directed to do a variety of natural posses with her model family (mum, dad, brother and grandparents) in and out of the caravans and around the holiday area of Skegness. Grace particularly enjoyed being in the caravans and pretending that she was on holiday and showed confidence throughout the whole experience. Grace said that she would recommend being a model to any of her friends and from a parents point of view, the experience has been one that Grace will remember forever and it's been an absolute delight to see her so happy and to have seen her confidence grow in leaps and bounds. Personal Care for Male Models

Having been around for over two decades they know the industry better than most. Here are some simple tips for male models in their morning rituals.

For any model, your personal care routine is the most important part of the day and in male modelling, a clean shave is often required. Always shave in the direction that the hair grows on your face, this is known as shaving with the grain. Shaving against the grain can cause reddish skin irritation known as razor burn so following your shave, apply a moisturising aftershave balm that doesn't contain oil or alcohol. Oil will clog the pores of the skin, and alcohol will dry it. You will be able to see when the skin is tight and elastic by inspecting your look in a mirror under bright, but not harsh, lighting. Always cleanse your skin with an exfoliating product to remove any dead cells. To prepare your face for shaving, rinse thoroughly with warm water, then use a shaving cream or gel containing vitamin A or Aloe Vera. Vitamin A and Aloe Vera will keep your skin moist and soft.

Hi all,

I was very pleased when I received a call from Talent Management last week, offering me 3 days worth of promotional work in my area on behalf of Adonis (a touring male glamour show).  I was not nervous beforehand as I have a plenty of experience in promotional work, but I was definitely curious as to how the general public would react to this type of event.

Models Direct

Myself and a male model from Talent Management were required to put up a large amount of Adonis posters in shop windows and on the streets of Great Yarmouth (ahead of their show in the area), as well as handing out flyers to female locals and tourists.  We enthusiastically engaged with as many people as possible about the event, with a view to get them to purchase tickets.

I thoroughly enjoyed the assignment - particularly getting into character as somebody who is passionate about male cabaret shows, and seeing women's reactions to the raunchy flyers!

I would recommend promotional work to anyone looking to earn some good money on the side whilst having fun - particularly to those who enjoy social interaction, or are looking to develop those skills.

Signing up with Talent Management is a decision I will never regret. Their clients are some of the biggest, well known and reputable company's in the UK - and it wouldn't be possible to work alongside them without the help and exposure TM offer to their models.  From dealing with the registrations department right up to my booking agent, I have always been satisfied with the high standard of customer service. This weekends photo shoot for Level 39 was my first assignment, but I was with my wife Michele so I was not too nervous.  It was great fun!  The other models were really interesting and from diverse backgrounds.  We all got on really well and chatted easily which made any nerves disappear - it was more like hanging out with a bunch of friends.  The client was really friendly too and put everyone at ease.  The photographer was there but not there - you hardly noticed him and this also made the whole experience really relaxed.  I found that I gained lots of confidence throughout the day and I would definitely like to do similar work again.  Thank you!

A fabulous session, I did not anticipate just how enjoyable the experience would be. A few of us stayed behind because we got on so well!

The location had a spectacular view across London. The best part of it was getting paired up and then through just a natural flow of conversation with one another, the session had already got underway!

It was amazing because we were having a conversation with each other without realising that photos were being taken in the background.

Philip was just looking at a casual dining experience with a backdrop of the stunning views behind and various shot preparation of the mise-en place that was prepared for us on the tables.

We were asked to sit and talk at the small tables. Dishes and glasses of wine were then brought out to the tables from the lovely Sarah and we were then asked to keep a conversation going as much as possible. As simple as that!

We then went over to the larger round tables to accommodate for a larger group sitting and were asked to the same throughout with the person sitting next to us. We had a group meeting in one of the more contained private rooms where we asked to perform bodily and gestural type communication whilst paying attention to the lead person at the front when they were communicating back to us.

For Executive type work, I would recommend taking with you a change of clothes as there could be specific scenes required for certain ideas. Also, keeping to a clean, professional attitude throughout as well as paying attention to listening to further instructions from the photographer really helps.
